In the early days after the company was formed in 2004, the majority of the work focused around the same-day delivery and on-site assembly of point-of-sale displays for the local design industry. Now with a broad range of vehicles and secure warehousing, customers are based in many different countries and are very diverse with a variety of different requirements. Ranging from computers to industrial generators, from medical supplies to tractor parts. If it’s urgent then Lutterworth Logistics will deliver it on the same day.
Saul Butler is the founder of Lutterworth Logistics and started the company as an 'owner-driver'. Through hard work and dedication, Saul was soon in a position to hire his first full-time driver and now employs more than 50 people. Determined not to lose touch, Saul still occasionally delivers personally for customers. Saul says, "I really enjoy meeting our customers and these deliveries remind me of the challenges which I find really helpful when delegating to our drivers". Saul enjoys skiing and loves Rugby, unfortunately, he broke his arm recently whilst playing and is now under pressure 'from her indoors' to hang up his boots permanently.
is currently the company secretary and has been a board member since 2007. With her feet firmly planted on the ground, Anita has been a major driving force behind Lutterworth Logistics and influenced many of the major decisions that has led to the current success. Anita's other role within the company is managing the busy accounts department. When she's not working, Anita enjoys, après-ski and sunbathing along with good food and wine.
is currently the operations director and has been a board member since 2014. With many years of experience in the logistics industry, Mark is very hardworking and has proved himself to be invaluable in managing the day to day running of the company. Mark is a very keen Leicester City Football supporter and is over the moon with their recent premiership title. Mark also enjoys playing tennis.
is currently the Logistics Manager and has been with Lutterworth Logistics since 2008. With many years of experience as a manager in the logistics industry, Trevor is very hardworking and has been a tremendous asset in managing the co-ordination of the vehicles and the customer requirements. Trevor is a very keen speedway fan and owns his own specially adapted Honda-50 speedway bike and is also a regular visitor to the Leicester Speedway Stadium.
is currently the office manager and has been with Lutterworth Logistics since 2015. Among her many tasks, Carol ensures that all proof-of-delivery records are correct and filed efficiently. In her spare time, Carol loves to play water polo on her chestnut stallion, Henry. Carol is also a very keen opera singer and most weekends will practice her singing whilst galloping through the local woods.
